Cubs in Hollywood: These famous fans aren't rooting for Dodgers
With Thursday's epic National League division win, the Cubs are off to L.A. for the championship series beginning Saturday against the Dodgers.
Celebrity sightings are common in Hollywood, but don't expect they'll all be donning Dodgers gear. The Cubs have more than their fair share of famous fans.
Here are a few:
John Cusack
Cusack has been at Wrigley cheering on the Cubs throughout the season and during the playoffs. When he's not there in person, he's often tweeting about them, like he was Thursday night, with a celebratory "Cubs!!!!!!!!!"
Stephen Colbert and Bill Murray
Both are big Cubs fans and joined forces on "The Late Show" to send a video message to Cubs fans before Game 5 of the NLDS, with Murray saying nothing's better "than going to an opponent's field and crushing them on their home field."
Eddie Vedder
Pearl Jam's front man is not only a Cubs fan, but also a fan of Wrigleyville. He's often spotted hanging out at Murphy's Bleachers and having fun with fans.
Elisabeth Moss
The "Mad Men" and "Handmaid's Tale" actress was at Wrigley for Game 4 of the NLDS, where she sang "Take Me out to the Ballgame" with "Parks and Recreation" actor Nick Offerman, a native of Minooka.
Aimee Garcia
You might know her from TV shows such as "George Lopez" and "Dexter." Garcia is also making a name for herself as a Cubs fan, writing on Twitter after Thursday's game, "CUBS WIN!!!!! I can breathe again. #Nailbiter."
Roy Wood Jr.
Wood is a comedian on "The Daily Show" who wore his lucky pinstripe Cubs bathrobe throughout the 2016 World Series bid, including on the air.
Brett Eldredge
This singer skipped the Country Music Association Awards last year so that he could be at Game 7 of the World Series.
