Aurora police seek help finding suspects in shooting that hit car, garage

Shots fired in Aurora Tuesday night hit a car and garage, and Aurora police are seeking the public's help finding three suspects, officials said Thursday.

Three men were seen running north through an alleyway north of Center Avenue, between Lincoln and LaSalle Streets around 9:25 p.m., according to am Aurora Police Department Facebook post.

No people were injured by the shots, but the damage to the car and garage is estimated at about $500, police said.

The three men were described as 17 to 18 years old. One was about 5 feet, 3 inches tall and 120 pounds, wearing a black jersey with a large 24 on the front; another was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with an unknown lights symbol on the front; the third man was wearing all dark clothing with red accents, police said.
