Wheeling Park District partnering with National Louis University to share facilities
National Louis University's campus in Wheeling has entered a partnership with the village's park district to share facilities.
The school at 1000 Capitol Drive will be hosting Wheeling Park District soccer games and practices as participation grows. The fields will allow the park district to meet the needs of the community.
"Our beautiful campus has green space on the northeast side of the property, and the park district needs fields to meet the growing demand for soccer, so it was a natural partnership," National Louis University President Nivine Megahed said in a news release.
The park district is working with the university to provide students with affordable access to its fitness center, as well as drop-in athletic activities.
