Free health fair being held Saturday at Naperville mosque

Community United Methodist Church and the Islamic Center of Naperville are joining together to offer a free community health fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at the mosque, 2844 W. Ogden Ave., Naperville. People 16 and older can be screened for blood pressure, blood sugar levels and oral cancer; get information from physical therapists, nutritionists, dentists, nurses, social workers and dietitians; and hear more in-depth presentations on topics such as back care, balance and fall prevention, a healthy diet, living with high blood pressure and heart disease prevention.

The Islamic Center of Naperville also offers a free clinic from 9 a.m. to noon the first Sunday of each month, and 7 to 9 p.m. the third Wednesday of each month at the mosque. For information, call (630) 355-1483 or (630) 426-3335.
