Police investigate possible drug-related death of 2 Aurora men

The death of a 57-year-old man and his 29-year-old stepson found in their Aurora home Monday were likely drug-related, police say.

About 9:45 p.m. Monday, Aurora police discovered the bodies of Jesus Mancilla-Nunez and his stepson, Jaime Vazquez Jr., in the basement of their home, according to a post on the department's Facebook page Tuesday. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

Both men were last seen alive about 11 p.m. Sunday in their home, police said. There were no signs of trauma and investigators do not suspect foul play.

Autopsies were scheduled for Tuesday at the Kane County coroner's office. Representatives from the coroner's office were not immediately available to comment.
