Warren-Newport Library to host free health checks

Warren-Newport Public Library, 222 N. O'Plaine Road, Gurnee will host a mobile health unit to provide free health screenings Thursday.

The Community Care Connection, a mobile health unit from Rosalind Franklin University, will provide checks on blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, body mass and more.

The screenings are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. No registration is required. The mobile unit will be in the library's parking lot from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
