Collectors descend upon Rosemont sports show

Memorabilia mavens descended upon one of the largest sports shows in the country in Rosemont on Sunday - the last day of the fest for collectors, sellers, autograph seekers and sports figures.

The 38th annual National Sports Collectors Convention wrapped up its five-day run Sunday at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, which has hosted the show off and on since the 1980s. It's considered by many in the industry to be the Super Bowl of sports memorabilia.

More than 100 sporting celebrities signed autographs during the convention, while some 800 vendors sold trading cards, game-worn uniforms and other souvenirs.
