No injuries in Naperville storage building fire

Naperville firefighters are investigating the cause of a Saturday morning blaze that damaged a large storage building and a mobile home trailer used for storage on the 28W200 block of 87th Street.

Authorities said they received a 911 call at 3:20 a.m. from a passer-by reporting a possible rubbish fire with smoke. While units were en route, they began receiving reports of a possible structure fire.

The first crews arrived within six minutes of the original call and were able to extinguish the fire within 15 minutes. No one was in either of the buildings and no injuries were reported.

Naperville firefighters were assisted at the scene by DuPage County sheriff's deputies, Naperville police and Naperville public works crews that helped with overhaul operations. Firefighters from Plainfield and Downers Grove helped cover Naperville fire stations.
