Protect your dog from ticks:
The Lake County Health Department's animal care and control staff has produced a video with tips on protecting your dog and family from ticks this summer. The short video explains how best to check for ticks and remove them. For example, check the entire dog every day and remove any ticks with tweezers, not a flame.
