Palatine Township co-hosting document shredding:

Palatine Township will co-host a free document shredding Saturday, June 24. In conjunction with the Palatine Lions Club, the shredding will be offered from 9 to 11 a.m. in the township center parking lot at 721 S. Quentin Road in Palatine. Residents are asked to enter through the Illinois Street drive and exit onto Quentin Road. There is a limit of two boxes and/or bags of paper per vehicle, and volunteers will assist with unloading. Documents will be destroyed through secure, crosscut shredding. "We are all very fortunate that Palatine Township and the Lions Club are able to work together on a yearly basis to provide free document shredding for our township residents," Palatine Township Supervisor Sharon Langlotz-Johnson said.
