An eclectic mix of art on display, food and goods for sale and even job interviews made up College of Lake County's inaugural Lake County Marketplace festival Saturday.

The event, which continues Sunday, kicked off Saturday in Parking Lot 3 at the college's Grayslake campus.

There was glass art from 1550 Fusion of Grayslake and experts from NorthShore Academy of Martial Arts sharing their knowledge. Items for sale included honey, Tupperware and beads.

Visitors could talk to the Six Flags Great America representative about getting a job at the theme park this summer, or jump in the bouncy house at the site.

There was also food vendors and live music.

The free event continues Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at CLC, 19351 W. Washington St.
