Final curtain for Buffalo Grove glee club

The final curtain will come down Saturday night on The Expressions show choir after 43 years at Buffalo Grove High School.

The 59-member song-and-dance group, which performed the second of three final shows Friday night, is being discontinued by administrators so the school's fine arts division can expand its vocal jazz group and traditional choirs and start an a cappella group.

Many family members, friends and Expressions alumni turned out Thursday and Friday for the group's Big Show, the annual year-end performance. The final show is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the school's Miller Theater, 1100 W. Dundee Road.
