Wheeling to host recycling event Saturday
Wheeling is hosting an electronics and document recycling event from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the public works facility, 77 W. Hintz Road.
Wheeling residents and other communities in the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County, or SWANCC, can participate. Identifications will be checked for verification of residency.
There's a limit of six file boxes or paper bags. All plastic and metal must be removed.
Most electronics will be accepted, excluding dehumidifiers, humidifiers, air conditioners, vacuum cleaners, refrigerators and other large home appliances.
