Prospect Heights 23 seeking school board applicants
Prospect Heights School District 23 is seeking applicants to fill an open school board position. The deadline to apply is Friday.
The board had three 4-year positions up for election April 4, but only two candidates - incumbents Kevin Novak and Patrick Chester - ran.
The appointed school board member will serve a 2-year term.
Applicants must be a resident of the district for at least one year preceding the appointment and a registered voter. Applicants who are a child sex offenders or have a prohibited interest in contract with the district will not be accepted.
