Dining out: Caddyshack, Dave & Buster's open in Rosemont

Murray Bros. Caddyshack sports bar is officially open for business in Rosemont. The casual, golf-themed family-friendly venue features a bar with 32 TVs, seating for 237, a fireplace, a semiprivate dining area called the "Loopers Lounge," and a retail store dubbed The Shed that will sell themed items from the 1980 movie "Caddyshack" starring Bill Murray. The American menu includes the Chicago dog, "Ode to Home" Italian beef, crispy potato golf balls, chicken and waffles, chipotle lime quinoa bowl, beer brats, the Chicago-Blues Burger, fig and prosciutto flatbread, crab-crusted blackened redfish and more. Signature drinks feature the Pool Water Martini (chocolate vodka, Frangelico, blue Curacao and a Baby Ruth candy bar), Bloody Murray (cucumber vodka, bloody mary mix, olive and lime), Country Club Tea (bourbon, unsweet tea, triple sec and lemon wedge), Back Nine (orange vodka, Razzmatazz, peach schnapps and sweet and sour mix) and more. The restaurant is adorned with photos of Murray and his brothers, who grew up in Wilmette and caddied at Indian Hill Club in Winnetka. Murray Bros. D&B now open in Rosemont

Dave & Buster's opened its 112th location Monday at the Pearl District in Rosemont. The restaurant and entertainment venue features a chef-crafted menu, unique cocktails, 155 arcade games, a sports bar, a billiards lounge, a dining room and sports viewing in a 40,500-square-foot space. Happy hour specials (from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday) include half-price cocktails, $1 off 22-ounce drafts, $1 off glasses of wine and $3 off bottles of wine. Garlic Fest at SLYCE

SLYCE Coal Fired Pizza is hosting an inaugural Garlic Fest now through Sunday, April 22, in honor of National Garlic Day. Chef Mike McElwee has created a four-course garlic dinner that includes roasted garlic and leek soup ($4.99), garlic confit flatbread ($8.99), fettuccine aglio e olio ($10.99) and cacio e pepe pizza ($14.99). The limited-release Big Dread's IPA is back at The RAM Restaurant & Brewery. To celebrate, suburban RAM restaurants are hosting tapping parties Friday, April 20. Nail Pulling Party

Yep, you read that right: Two Brothers Brewing Company is hosting an exclusive Nail Pulling Party from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 21, at the brewery in Warrenville. Nails will be pulled out of barrel-aged beers from Two Brothers' Special Projects Division for guests to sample. During the open house, Two Brothers staff will talk about the rare beers, most of which will not be available to buy elsewhere. Tickets are $35 and include at least 12 samples of the barrel-aged beers, a lunch buffet, the opportunity to buy beers from Two Brothers Special Projects and the archives, and self-guided tours. Raising the steaks and seafood

Oak Brook's Devon Seafood + Steak recently expanded its menu with more steak offerings featuring Midwestern-raised USDA Prime Aged Black Angus beef and traditional sides such as the wedge salad, French onion soup and au gratin potatoes. Also added to the menu are regional fish from Lake Superior, including lake perch and walleye. New three-course prix fixe meals are now available for both lunch and dinner, including seafood, steak, and surf and turf options for $39 or $48. Earth Day special

In celebration of Earth Day on Sunday, April 22, Prairie Grass Cafe is offering dinner customers a complimentary bowl of the restaurant's special River Valley Ranch mushroom soup with the purchase of an entree. Steak it out

LongHorn Steakhouse is going Over the Top when it comes to its Flo's Filet. For a limited time, diners can order the filet with new toppings such as bacon-bourbon (apple wood smoked bacon and house-made bourbon brown sugar glaze) and Parmesan crusted filet (signature creamy Parmesan, provolone and garlic cheese crust) and returning favorite shiitake mushroom crusted filet (roasted shiitake mushrooms, toasted bread crumbs and a garlic cream sauce).
