Family frustrated with dark, damaged doors

My husband and I finally bought our first house in April. We love the house we purchased, but it needed work. We spent four weeks painting every inch of it and installed new carpet, because it smelled of smoke and animals. Unfortunately, the smoke smell has remained in part because of the doors.

The doors are not just foul smelling. Almost every door has a giant hole or dents in them. Even the door to my 1-year-old's room has multiple dents and has sticker residue on it. The locks on the doors can stick, and I often worry that my 1-year-old will get locked in her bedroom!

We would love to replace the doors so she can be in an environment that is safe, free of that smoke and doesn't have splintering wood around her. Our house has been a labor of love, and we hope to give it a little more TLC with new doors.

The Olexa family bought a fixer-upper home recently and have put a lot of work into removing the old pet and smoke smells. The one thing that will bring all their hard work together and rid any lingering smells once and for all is getting new doors! They have old, dark flat-panel doors that have bad odors, don't function correctly, and some even have holes in them. They would really benefit from not only the brightening effect new doors have on the whole house, but also the safety of properly functioning doors for their family.
