The U.S. and its coronavirus borders

Last week, I was at the Chicago O'Hare Airport to pick up my nephew's wife and her trainer from Denmark. She had qualified for the World Finals in the Cross Fit sport, held in Madison Wisconsin.

They had desired to take their spouses along, but that was denied by the U.S. authorities. I was appalled. Denmark is one of the most vaccinated countries and lowest in new coronavirus cases.

When I stood waiting at O'Hare for them to come out, I saw planeload after planeload come out from countries that do not have one-tenth of the credentials Denmark has.

Now I was even more appalled. Then I read that Canada has opened up for us, but we not for them.

Can our administration get its act together and behave in a realistic and friendly way?

It does not help claiming one thing and then carry nothing out.
