Hold lawmakers accountable on guns

It's time to hold our politicians responsible to represent us. That's how the term representative began, they are supposed to represent us, not the NRA.

Any time you meet your representative or at any debate, make sure your first question is, "Will you support banning automatic firearms?"

Will you ban the AR-15?

Do you realize that the Second Amendment they refer to so often was written in 1791?

How many of these firearms were there then? Represent us. Do what we want.

Has your representative sent you a poll letter asking you what you think about banning assault firearms?

They like to ask the question if we have the right to bear arms rather than being specific about these weapons.

Be pro-active, call them and ask them their stance on such firearms and if they are sending a survey to their constituents.

They know they are wrong, but they would rather endanger us than lose an election.

Shame on them. Shame on us for electing them. It is our time to do something about them. Do not vote for anyone who is against banning such weapons. It is time for them to shape up or ship out.
