Take back control

On March 20, Republican primary voters can decide Illinois' future, whether or not we continue down the illusory primrose path guided by the once-promising Turnaround Agenda, "no social issues" Gov. Rauner. While Democrats bask in the glory of a failed Republican governor, expediently and self-servingly offering more of the same poison with a different label, conservative Republican voters need to step up to the plate and say no to Illinois' further decay … no matter the party leading us to ignominy.

Gov. Rauner has betrayed us and accomplished things that a Democrat governor could only dream of … taxpayer-funded abortions, a sanctuary state for illegal immigrants and complicity in tax hikes while being a make-believe fiscal conservative. Ostensibly Mike Madigan's nemesis, he's served up Democrat policy wishes on a silver platter reliably and without a blush.

Dear voters, will we abdicate our futures to failed "Republican" leadership, equally destructive Democrats, or take back control of our Illinois homes? This is a do-or-die moment.

Only we can make it happen by showing up to the polls on March 20, and casting our vote for Jeanne Ives. Jeanne has the character, commitment, and policy expertise to affect a prosperous, fiscally solvent and ascendant Illinois.

Jeanne is unabashedly pro-life, a staunch defender of our right to keep and bear arms, and a true advocate for lower taxes.

Rauner's TV ads and mailers saying otherwise are deceitful smears, as the Daily Herald has pointed out.

Jeanne's a winner … our only alternative is debilitation and suffering for all of us in Illinois who work for a living or are retired. Please vote Republican and make a difference, or we'll see you soon in Wisconsin.
