Empty promises

I was tuned in to the recent Democratic debate, and I was very disappointed in what I heard. The first part of the program was dedicated to the impeachment of Donald Trump and it became obvious to me that no one on that stage wants to challenge Trump one-on-one in the presidential race. They would rather get him out of office via impeachment.

The second thing that impressed me was that none of them have any programs that Americans can support. All are socialist-driven and are unaffordable. Medicare for all, free college education, we could never as individual taxpayers afford to support these ideas or programs. I for one, whether they come from a Democrat or a Republican am tired of the lies and promises they cannot deliver.

Over the years I have voted for both Democrats and Republicans depending on who I thought would be the best leader. However, On stage last night I did not see one candidate I would call a leader. Where are the Roosevelts. Trumans, Kennedys and Johnsons?
