Just follow the rules

The United States has a defense budget of over $700 billion. Defense of this nation is the primary job of our elected government. What good is spending that much in taxpayer money if terrorists only have to stand in line at our borders and walk in behind thousands of other people who are entering the country illegally? Immigrants are always welcome in this nation. It is not racist, or irrational, to expect people to follow our legal immigration laws. If we are going to have an open border policy, then we might as well slash the military budget, If we ignore history (think 9/11), there is a possibility that we will indeed see a repeat. Immigrants, yes. Illegal entry and open borders, no. There are people in this world who don't like America.
