'Trickle down' still a bad idea
Just read Mr. Prescott's Dec. 4 letter about not to be expecting jobs resulting from the proposed tax rewrite. While I agree with him about the looming failure, again, of trickle down economics, he lays the blame on big business when also average- and medium-sized investors cheer the growth of their IRAs and other retirement investments.
We can't support a tax plan that takes away as equally as it gives. Trickle down was a bad fix under Reagan and Rostenkowski, and it's a bad plan now Uber Trump, McConnell and Ryan.
