GOP cares about spending when convenient

I am so tired of the hypocrisy coming from Washington.

For years we have listened to Republicans, including our own Peter Roskam and Randy Hultgren, saying that they are fiscally responsible.

They denounced any of President Obama's ideas with their standard line "Who is going to pay for it?" They didn't support Democratic initiatives because they might add to the deficit. They didn't want to increase the national debt.

Now the GOP is looking at tax overhaul, and now they are saying that they will add up to $1.5 trillion to the deficit. Really? Now it's OK?

Where are their backbones? Isn't the deficit just as important when Republicans are running the government? Can't they overhaul the tax system without going into debt even more?

They only care about spending when it's convenient. They are hypocrites. Congressmen Roskam and Hultgren, your behavior is disgusting.
