Voter approval should be required for District 59 bond issue,

My valid signature on the petition opposing the District 59 bond issue does not reflect an opinion, either way, of the district's need for funds. It is, however, an assertion that propositions of this magnitude need to have taxpayer approval.

If a referendum is placed on the ballot, I will vote my opinion and support the majorities.

Of concern to me is the lack of understanding from most of the District 59 board members that the voting community matters. To move forward on an issue of this magnitude without more support is troubling.

If they are that out of touch with their constituents, changes need to occur, within the voting process as each of their terms expire.
