Time to reflect, react, resist on behalf of truth
As seen and heard from Day One of this strangely deceptive subterfuge known as the Trump presidency, when you do not respect the truth. you are unable to stem the lies that follow. With a trove of professional misleaders assembled and ready to spew against anything or anyone that would stand up for the transparency and freedom that America stood for before that fateful November 2016 day, the sheer defiance of presidential virtue staggers the mind.
Who would have thought that one day a United States president would go so far as to blatantly highlight ratings over reality? The press is not the enemy. And while it is certainly a given that all media outlets are not completely accurate, I'll take the overall verity of our mainstream press any day of the week.
Maybe one day those who allowed this political travesty to happen will wake up and realize the error of their ways. But more likely as long as they are being told what they want to hear, the truth is irrelevant.
There are good people on both sides of the aisle. But when facts and reality are contorted and coerced for the creation of an anterior existence dividing this country so far beyond the usual legislative and social differences that absolute dysfunction reigns far and wide in this proud land, it is truly time to reflect, react and most unfortunately, resist.
