Hats off to everyone for Frontier Days

Kudos to the Red Shirts!

Congratulations on 40 years of bringing family fun to the entire Arlington Heights community with something for every age to enjoy. Some may not know that an entire year of planning and volunteering goes into bringing this five-day extravaganza, including our fabulous parade, to us each year.

Countless volunteers and sponsors, like the Daily Herald, donate time and big bucks to bring us live entertainment and events at no cost to us. Did you know the income from this event provides seed money for they following year and then all the rest is donated right back to the community?

Hats off to all the volunteers! Some work endless hours, days, months to make this happen. Know your efforts on our behalf are appreciated ... and enjoyed!
