Quality of intelligence is what's important
Our president often seems to assess a low IQ (Intelligence Quotient) to people he despises and rips them apart in speeches and tweets.
Having known his character from publicly available information (hopefully reasonably accurate) from the 1970s, this writer of reasonable IQ would like to coin the acronym - QI, Quality of Intelligence.
I do not know where Abe Lincoln would have scored on IQ but doubtless his QI must have been extremely high.
He did keep the country patched up, did he not? All the while so many with high or low IQ were tearing at him.
He even increased the total sum of freedom in the country through his Emancipation Proclamation.
Judging from such a perspective, our president, no doubt of high IQ, may want to self-check his QI, because the opposite is showing. It behooves people of power surrounding him, no doubt with high IQs, to do the same.
When people of high IQ and power direct decisions to self-aggrandizement, enrichment and reduction in freedom and equality for many, I see their low QI.
