An even greater danger: Pence in charge

It was another sad day for America May 9 with Trump's firing of Director James Comey from the FBI. My guess is that Comey's investigations were getting close to proving disclosure of Trump's involvement with Russia.

Trump fired him not only to prevent the obvious, but also to take advantage of the opportunity to prematurely end the investigation.

Mr. Trump's motives and actions are so transparent, so deflective. How frightening to witness firsthand how the office and power of the President of the United States is once again being abused and misused at the hand of this man. Who again, Mr. President, is not fit to serve in his office?

Meanwhile the Republicans are talking impeachment. Yes, that will get rid of Trump all right, but then Pence will be in the driver's seat. That will be an even greater danger than Trump is now - Pence has a brain.
