'Dump Care' is here

President Trump and the House Republicans passed their version of Trump Care but given all who will lose health care coverage it should be called Dump Care. Seniors, those with a disability, the poor, and individuals with pre-existing conditions are out, and massive tax breaks for those who do not need it benefit the most. One wonders who is left?

Historically, the Republicans have been for a few and forget about everyone else. They have been against Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, the prescription drug benefit and now health care.

After their legislative victory was celebrated in the White House Rose Garden, Trump went to an event in New York where he noted that Australia had better health care than the U.S. He had no idea Australian had universal coverage through the government. Is it any wonder we are in the mess we are in?
