Grateful to Glenbard S. orchestra director

We owe a debt of gratitude to Tom Bowling for his dedication to the Glenbard South Orchestra. His work with students demonstrates a fondness for his work and dedication to his class.

This is the last year Tom will be directing the orchestra, and he will be missed by all. He knew how to build confidence in students and engage them in learning. He facilitated a smooth transition from outgoing seniors to incoming freshmen without missing a beat.

Tom spent endless hours working to develop a program every year that showcased the talents of his students. I found I could reach Tom at school at all hours. He would be the first one there and the last one to leave for home. Also, he worked on projects over the weekends.

We have been supporters of the music program at Glenbard South for years after our boys left school because we believe in Tom and his devotion to his students.

We all will miss you, Tom. Thank you for all you have given to the Glenbard South Community.
