Program helps kids avoid bad decisions

I wanted to say thank you to the organizers of Operation Click and to Kunes Country Auto Group on behalf of the student body, staff, administration and community here at Mundelein High School. A special thank you also comes from Daniel Bronfeyn and his family - winner of a car for the Lake County Operation Click Chapter. Having a winner of a free car at our school has made all the difference and the buzz surrounding it has made it easier to discuss safe driving decisions - especially those surrounding the ideas of seat belt use and disengagement with phones while driving.

Thank you for being willing to run a program that saves kid's lives. One of the things I was excited to listen to at the banquet was the McHenry County Sherriff's Office discussion of heroin use. It saddens me deeply every time I see or hear of a young person who has ruined his/her life. There is not enough we can do to make sure all students are drug free, but I applaud Operation Click for doing what it can to bring awareness to this problem.

Thank you once again for a great program that helps save kid's lives. We are excited not only to win a car for one of our students, but also to bring awareness to the dangers of distracted driving and poor decisions made while driving.
