Sonoco Protective Solutions leases office space in Arlington Heights

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS - Sonoco Protective Solutions, a customized packaging company, has signed a lease for a regional sales and administrative office at 3930 Ventura Boulevard in Arlington Heights.

Sonoco provides packaging solutions to protect products in the automotive, electronics, appliances, medical and office furniture sectors, among others. It has leased an 18,595-square-foot space in the 57,000-square-foot, single-story office building.

The building owner, Pal Group Inc., was represented in the transaction by Downers Grove-based JBS Commercial Real Estate, the exclusive leasing agents for the property.

Sonoco has nearly 30 locations in North America, including the U.S. and Mexico. It found this location attractive because of its central location, with accessibility to a strong labor market, amenities and major thoroughfares, JBS said in a news release.

Jason Shibata and Brian Silverman, both Partners at JBS Commercial Real Estate, represented building ownership in the transactions. Sonoco Protective Solutions was represented by Avison Young.
