McHenry shopping center sold for $32 million

Mid-America Real Estate Corp. recently brokered the sale of the Shops at Fox River in McHenry.

New York City - based Time Equities purchased the 340,849-square-foot center for $32 million.

The Shops at Fox River is located at the southeast corner of Illinois Route 32 and Running Brook Farm Boulevard in the northwest Chicago suburb.

The 2007 construction retail center is anchored by Dick's Sporting Goods, Ross Dress for Less, TJ Maxx, Bed Bath & Beyond, DSW, Ulta, Old Navy and shadow anchored by J.C. Penney.

Mid-America Real Estate Corporation Principal Ben Wineman and Vice President Carly Gallagher were the exclusive brokers in the transaction on behalf of the seller, a public REIT.

Mid-America Real Estate Corporation is a member of Mid-America Real Estate Group, a ChainLinks affiliate headquartered in Oakbrook Terrace. The company has offices in Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis and Detroit.
