NAPCO names new president

North American Polymer Company Ltd, better known as NAPCO, a refinishing products and training firm, announced that Dani Nichols has been promoted to the role of president.

Nichols has been with the company since 1996, and has been serving as vice president since 2004. With a recent rebrand of the company and overhaul of the e-commerce website, Nichols' appointment comes at an exciting time of growth for the innovative refinishing supply company.

NAPCO's focus on customer service made the business an excellent cultural fit for Nichols, who had originally come to Chicago to pursue a career in acting. Within a short time of her initial job as a customer service representative for NAPCO, Nichols was leading the department.

"Nichols' leadership at NAPCO has been essential to our success as a company," said Steven Coven NAPCO's founder and former president. "During Dani's 22 years with NAPCO, she has served in a number of key leadership roles. She's earned a reputation in the industry as an insightful leader with a strategic mind and a creative approach to delivering consistent, profitable growth," he added.

Coven will maintain his role as NAPCO's Chief Executive Officer and plans to refocus his efforts on product innovation. Coven held the title as NAPCO's president since 1993.

Nichols attributes her success at NAPCO to Coven. She stated, "I owe my career at NAPCO to Steve Coven. He saw potential in me that I didn't even see in myself." Nichols went on to add, "I come to work every day knowing that I can help others become their best possible selves. This is my north star and it is the reason that I am so grateful for the entire NAPCO team. Without them, I would not be NAPCO's president. They really are NAPCO."

NAPCO's growth during the past 39 years has positioned the business as a beacon for refinishing innovation internationally. The company, with distributors on four continents, manufactures and distributes hundreds of products at its headquarters in suburban Chicago and plans to release several new products this year.

Since 1979, NAPCO has provided products, supplies, and training to professional bathroom and kitchen refinishers.
