Boy Scouts of America move from Highland Park to Vernon Hills

Des Plaines-based Podolsky Circle CORFAC International announced the sale of 850 Forest Edge Drive in Vernon Hills.

Located in the Corporate Woods Business Park, 850 Forest Edge Drive is a single-tenant, 12,500 square foot office building situated in a heavily wooded business park setting. The Northeast Illinois Council, Boy Scouts of America is relocating to 850 Forest Edge Drive from its longtime location at 2745 Skokie Valley Road in Highland Park after concluding a sale of that facility to a neighbor.

Podolsky Principals Randy D. Podolsky and Adam Tarantur represented the seller, Forest Edge LLC, in the $1,095,000 transaction. The property sold to The Northeast Illinois Council, Boy Scouts of America.

"The owners grew its business at the property, so much so that they eventually moved down the street into a substantially larger footprint," said Tarantur. "We are all extremely pleased that the Boy Scouts of America will call 850 Forest Edge its home and we are honored to have facilitated this transaction between the parties," added Podolsky.

Dave LeCavalier of Fore Front Properties represented the Boy Scouts of America in the transaction. Michael Ralph, Jr. of Ralph, Schwab, Gartner & Schiever, Chartered was the attorney for the seller.
