DuPage CVB hires sales manager

Naomi Rolfe has joined the DuPage CVB as a sales manager.

In this role Rolfe will focus on the corporate and third-party markets as the team continues to target and secure new and recurring meetings and conventions for DuPage County.

"Naomi is a solid complement to our sales team and will bring innovative ideas to help our team achieve continued success in attracting more meetings and convention business to DuPage County," said Justin Roach, DuPage CVB's director of sales.

In early 2017, the DCVB unveiled its new strategic plan for tourism in DuPage County - GPS: A Tourism Roadmap. The strategic plan aims to expand and further strengthen the $2.5 billion tourism industry in DuPage County through a range of tactics on behalf of its meetings and convention industry such as exploring the sports tourism industry; increasing the ROI for smaller meeting properties, strategically targeting conferences the DCVB team attends; incorporating St. Louis and Milwaukee into its 2018 sales visits, and many more initiatives.

Rolfe joins the team with more than 13 years of sales and marketing experience in the hospitality and print industries. She has extensive hospitality experience throughout the DuPage County hospitality community, most recently with Chicago Marriott Naperville. Prior to joining Marriott, she represented Candlewood Suites Aurora-Naperville, and Q Center Conference & Training Center in St. Charles.
