Trader Joe's recalls yogurt dip and Tahini sauce

Trader Joe's is recalling a yogurt dip and Tahini sauce because of possible bacteria in the products.

The grocer said Trader Joe's Cilantro & Chive Yogurt Dip (SKU# 78720) and Trader Joe's Tahini Sauce (SKU# 78723) sold in stores nationwide, may have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

No illnesses have been reported to date, and all potentially affected product has been removed from store shelves and destroyed.

Listeria infections are most dangerous, possibly even fatal, to young children, elderly people, people with weakened immune systems and pregnant women. Miscarriages and stillbirths can result. People in good health might suffer only high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea.

If shoppers purchased the dip or sauce, the company suggests to return or discard the products.
