Starship Travel makes destination plans for more than 30 years
An interview with Kaitlin Skye Collins, travel development manager with Starship Travel.
Q: Tell us about the business.
A: Starship Travel is a longtime front-runner in the travel industry nationwide. We sell the world and as our tagline states, "We know what we sell, because we've been there!" Our agents are well-traveled and well-versed in our industry and customer appreciation.
Q: What's unique about the company?
A: What sets Starship apart is our atmosphere. We treat our clients like family, not transactions. We tailor each trip to our travelers and take pride in the non-cookie cutter experience we give our people.
Q: How do you cater to corporate clients?
A: Corporate incentive is the foundation of Starship Travel. We started our business 30 years ago by partnering with various business and companies across the Midwest to bring them the best in corporate incentive travel. Now 30 years later, we are still doing that, and more.
Q: What are people in your industry talking about? What's trending?
A: Overcoming the internet is the biggest hot topic in our industry as of late. And for good reason, businesses and individuals can book everything with the click of a mouse. But when something goes wrong, they've got no one to back them up. That's where booking with Starship overcomes the internet. We are here to bring success to your business and your travels from start to finish.
Q: Tell us a little about yourself.
A: My work with Starship Travel started back in 2015 as a college student doing marketing consultation work. I've transitioned into the travel development role, taking on all things from marketing marketing to programming.
