Batir Architecture's conference room needs attention and improvements

"Help, help, Help," says Kristin Madden of Batir Architecture Ltd. as she looks at the conference room at their St. Charles offices.

She said the company, located at 1121 E. Main St., is a "very busy" architectural firm.

She added that they realize it desperately needs a renovation, but haven't had the resources or time to "make an impact."

The conference room has become the storage space for samples, Madden said. "So we have lots of piles of sample books all over the place. The conference table is aging and surrounded by an assortment of uncomfortable chairs. Batir Architecture Ltd. is an architectural firm that provides client service, design and a focus on sustainability.

The company has international and national project experience.

Madden said they have clients throughout the country, so having the ability to interact with them with video equipment in a renovated conference room would be extremely helpful.

The firm serves many metropolitan area communities including St. Charles, Geneva, Batavia, Naperville, Elgin, Carol Stream, Addison, Bolingbrook, Elburn, McHenry, Oswego, Evanston, North Aurora, Darien and Mount Prospect.
