Grains mixed, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mixed Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec. delivery rose 5 cents at $4.8460 a bushel; Dec. corn was fell 2.40 cents at $3.70 a bushel; Dec. oats was off 4 cents at $2.70 a bushel; while Nov. soybeanswas up 1.40 cents at 8.8860 a bushel.

Beef and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Oct. live cattle was rose .37 cent at $1.0275 a pound; Sep. feeder cattle was up .33 cent at $1.4158 a pound; Oct. lean hogs gained 1.65 cents at .6450 a pound.
