2 killed in wrong-way crash near Fort Wayne

NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (AP) - Two people were killed when a wrong-way driver crashed into an SUV on a highway near Fort Wayne.

The Fort Wayne Journal Gazette reports that 26-year-old Sa Dit and 27-year-old Lai Lar Bee, both of Fort Wayne, died in the wreck early Saturday morning

Police say a 47-year-old Garrett woman was driving a minivan the wrong way on State Route 3 just after midnight when she struck the SUV that the two victims were riding in.

The driver of the SUV and another passenger were taken to the hospital with injuries.

The woman driving the minivan was arrested and also taken to the hospital with internal, leg and neck injuries. Another passenger in the minivan was also injured.
