Man dies after going to feed fish at western Indiana pond

DUGGER, Ind. (AP) - Authorities say a 69-year-old man who went to feed fish at a pond in western Indiana was found unresponsive in the water and died.

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources says Michael Reynolds of Dugger was spotted floating Thursday in the pond on private property in Sullivan County with his face in the water. He was removed from the pond and pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy Friday found that Reynolds died of heart failure.

Investigators were told that he had gone to a dock at the pond to feed fish but didn't return as expected.
