Grains mixed, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mixed Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery rose 2 cents at $5.06 a bushel; Jul corn was unchanged at $4.00 a bushel; July oats dropped .2 cent at $2.4220 a bushel while Jul soybeans fell 4.2 cents at $9.9620 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle rose 1.45 cents at $1.0360 a pound; May feeder cattle was up .53 cent at $1.3315 a pound; June lean hogs gained .62 cent at .7612 a pound.
