Trump says Justice Dept 'slow' to fill Republican demands

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Donald Trump is accusing the Justice Department of "slow walking" its release of documents related to the FBI's handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation.

In two Saturday tweets, Trump slammed the department overseen by his appointees for delays responding to Republican lawmakers' document demands.

Trump asks, "What does the Department of Justice and FBI have to hide?" and says the agencies are "stalling, but for what reason? Not looking good!"

The House Judiciary Committee last month sought records related to an inspector general review of the Clinton email probe and other matters. The Justice Department says it will turn over 1,000 pages of information on Monday. And FBI Director Christopher Wray says he doubled the number of people working on the request and has them working overtime.
