Grains higher, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery was advanced 8.20 cents at $4.92 a bushel; March corn was up 2 cents at $3.76 bushel; March oats rose 4 cents at $2.64 a bushel while March soybeans gianed 6.60 cents at $10.5560 a bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle was off 1.40 cents at $1.2220 a pound; March feeder cattle lost 1.27 cents at $1.4358 a pound; April lean hogs fell 0.25 cent at $.6702 a pound.
