To what extent does the Affordable Care Act address this responsibility? What, if any, changes are needed in the act.The most basic historical rationalization for the formation of government is the protection of its citizenry. In the last decade the American Health Care system has failed at two basic fronts exposing how our governing leadership has miserably failed if their most basic responsibility. First, the American Health Care system has been manipulated with unfair price fixing, unfair pharmaceutical monopolies, unfair business practices, unproven health treatments, pricing alliances, regulations in almost every conceivable market to restrict competition, ECT. which, of course, has lead to a financial fleecing of the American public. The second failure has been the willful neglect to ensure basic health care coverage for public. The Affordable Care Act has attempted to address the basic health care coverage to ensure health care Ãâ#128;™protectionÃâ#128;œ to all citizens, however, because of the willful and ignored exploitation of the entire market of health care, the American public remains Ãâ#128;™unprotectedÃâ#128;œ and our government leadership appears to be completely incompetent for the challenge. So to answer the questions, the government does have the responsibility to assure the public of health care and to assure the public that the health care system is free from being a monopolized, manipulated, corrupted enterprise that it has become. What immigration policies do you support? Where, if at all, do you see room for compromise to produce an effective policy on immigration? What, if any, responsibility does the government have toward immigrants referred to as Dreamers who were brought to the United States illegally as children and are now adults? How will these policies affect your district? The values that we embrace as Americans about what is right, what is just, what is good is what essentially differentiates us from the rest of the world. It is relatively easy to see that by the letter of the law that a pathway for Dreamers to become, at least, legal residents is prohibited, but at our inner core, it is as easy to understand that rejection of the Dreamer policy is depraved. I do believe we have come to a point in time for border security and reasonable vetting however, the Dreamers that have grown in the United States and have been basically been raised by us, should be allowed to remain with us as our own. What military or diplomatic roles should the United States play to promote peace and stability in the Mideast? Under what circumstances should we have military forces actively operating? When in history has there ever been peace in the Middle East? Just because there is not an official war in the Middle East does not mean that killing and butchering of innocent people will ever cease. To believe that the United States could possibly achieve Ãâ#128;™peaceÃâ#128;œ in the Middle East through military or diplomatic roles is rather naÃ#130;â#128;cent;ve. When an individual believes that military and/or diplomatic roles by the United States can achieve Ãâ#128;™peaceÃâ#128;œ in the Middle East, it is an admission that that someone does not have a grasp on the true dynamics of the region. The only circumstance in which I would support military force is a direct attack on our country or ally, and even then the scope of such a response should be extremely limited, well defined, short lived, authorized solely by an act of Congress, and absolutely not solely authorized by the office of the President of the United States. What should the United States be doing to reduce the threat of potential nuclear conflict from North Korea?Throughout history Ãâ#128;™the peopleÃâ#128;œ have been frequently misinformed about Ãâ#128;™threateningÃâ#128;œ countries which has often resulted in wars. I cannot be certain that I or we know all the facts in this situation. At this late point in the United States dealings with North Korea, I would propose to contain and negotiate. Communication is always key to any type of potential conflict. If elected I would be willing to arraign and/or participate in meeting with Kim Jong Un to be sure that the American Public is indeed fully informed of all the facts. After all, if Dennis Rodman can arrange a peaceful audience with Kim Jong Un, I would suppose that certain trusted officials from the United States could arrange an open public dialogue with the leader. How would you describe the effectiveness of Congress today? If you think Congress needs to be more effective, what would you do to promote that? The reason that Congress remains ineffective is because their interests do not align with the best interest of the majority of Americans. In order for Congress to be effective there are two major changes that would have to become a reality. First, campaign contributions musts be restricted to living people. Today, campaign contributions can be concealed through special interests, entities, or corporations. These entities have been conveniently redefined as Ãâ#128;™personsÃâ#128;œ for manipulation. The very idea of defending an organization's Ãâ#128;™free speechÃâ#128;œ to influence an election is like defending free speech to yell out Ãâ#128;™fireÃâ#128;œ in a movie theater. One of the many reason for limited campaign contributions to one individual is that one individual cannot dominate his or her opinion throughout the public venue and have dominance over an underprivileged person's opinion. Many voters believe it is a benefit that their political opinions are thrusted upon the American public through soft money contributions. However, in the end, we all pay with exorbitant health care costs, inefficient energy , undue debt, corporate bailouts, ect costing the American people billions. Second, term limits are necessary to motivate representatives to accomplish what they were put into office to do. Representatives should have a limited window of opportunity to achieve what is necessary before the newly elected motivated representative would be put in place to push forward with issues that they were elected to promote. Also, term limits would make it more difficult for representatives to have hidden influences. What other issues, if any, are important to you as a candidate for this office?Monopolized financial markets, internet freedom, state rights, currency manipulation, power redistribution, privacy infringements, monopolized consumer markets, presidential power restrictions, stronger governmental agency oversight by Congress, elimination of Federal police, to quickly name a few. Please name one current leader who most inspires you.Candidate did not respond. What is the biggest lesson you learned at home growing up?Candidate did not respond. If life gave you one do-over, what would you spend it on?This is an extremely personal question and I am running for U.S. Congress, not a beauty contest. What was your favorite subject in school and how did it help you in later life?Candidate did not respond. If you could give your children only one piece of advice, what would it be?Candidate did not respond.
