3 teens arrested after threats closed S. Indiana schools

PAOLI, Ind. (AP) - Indiana State Police say three teenagers have been arrested after social media posts threatening harm led to the closure of schools for one day.

Police says two 17-year-olds and one 16-year-old were taken into custody Monday in Paoli and charged with intimidation. They were lodged in a juvenile detention center.

Police say the Paoli Community School Corp. cancelled classes Friday after the two posts appeared the previous evening threatening harm to local schools.

It wasn't clear which social media were used to communicate the threats.
