No. 24 TCU women top Sooners 62-58 for 6th straight victory

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - Lauren Heard scored 12 points, including the game-tying 3-pointer, and Amber Ramirez scored all nine of her points in the final two minutes to secure No. 24 TCU's 62-58 victory over Oklahoma on Saturday.

The Horned Frogs (15-5, 6-3 Big 12), playing as a ranked team at home for the first time since Nov. 17, 2010, won their sixth straight, their longest run since an eight-game streak in 2010-11. The win also ended a seven-game losing streak to the Sooners (10-11, 5-5), including an 81-74 loss on Jan. 4.

Heard tied it with 2:48 left followed by a basket and 3-pointer from Ramirez to lead 58-53. Oklahoma's Gabbi Ortiz made a 3-pointer with 38 seconds left but Ramirez sandwiched two free throws and a layup around a basket by the Sooners' Shaina Pellington.

Pellington led Oklahoma with 19 points and Vionise Pierre-Louis had 12 points, 14 rebounds and five blocks.
