No. 22 Green Bay women beat UIC 65-36

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) - Jessica Lindstrom had 12 points and 12 rebounds with nine on the offensive glass, and the No. 22 Green Bay women never trailed in a 65-36 win over UIC on Friday night.

Frankie Wurtz and Allie LeClaire had 13 points each to lead the Phoenix (18-2, 8-1 Horizon League), who led 31-24 at halftime and then outscored the Flames 34-12 in the second half.

Green Bay pulled away in the third quarter with an 11-2 run that made it 46-30. UIC (7-13, 0-9) went scoreless for the first seven minutes of the fourth quarter as the Phoenix scored the first 11 points of the period.

The Phoenix struggled from 3-point range, making just 3 of 20 attempts. But the Flames committed 25 turnovers compared to nine by Green Bay.

Taylor Toney and Brittany Byrd led UIC with 13 points each.
