Authorities rule deaths of Indiana couple as murder-suicide

LAPEL, Ind. (AP) - Authorities have ruled the deaths of an Indianapolis couple whose bodies were found by a snowmobiler in central Indiana as a murder-suicide.

The Madison County Coroner says 21-year-old Heaven Henderson died from gunshot wounds to the neck. Her 23-year-old boyfriend, Jeremy Danowski, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

They were reported missing in December. Authorities say a handgun they purchased was found with them, along with shell casings.

The couple was reported missing Dec. 18 and Danowski's car was found at a Lapel park. Several searches didn't find them.

They were both from Lapel and had been living in Indianapolis.
